Deputy Clerk

Assists the City Clerk with the operation of the City Office through efficient performance of administrative functions requiring a high level of confidentiality, sound judgement and skilled business practices.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare licenses, such as peddler permits, liquor licenses, tobacco licenses, handicap permits, and mobile food
  • Assist with agendas & packets for meetings.
  • Assist with maintenance of official documents and records
  • Prepare legal notices for hearings and advertisements for bids.
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Assist with claims, payroll, TIF
